Who performs my treatment?
Licensed professionals only. Injectables are done by our nurse practitioner, Natalie, or our RN injectors, Camille and Adrian. Facials, peels and laser hair removal are done by Leila, our licensed aesthetician, and microneedling and laser resurfacing by a nurse. All treatments are performed under the supervision of our medical director, Dr. Gregory Lindqvist, MD.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe injectables as a quick pinch. We apply numbing cream before filler and microneedling, use cooling on the skin, and work at your pace. Laser hair removal feels like a warm snap of a rubber band. Tell us at any point if you want to pause.
How much downtime should I plan for?
Facials, skin boosters and skin tightening have none beyond a little pinkness. Neuromodulator has none, though we ask you to skip heavy exercise for the rest of the day. Filler can leave swelling or bruising for two to five days, so we suggest not booking it the day before an event. Peels and microneedling mean pink skin for a day or two, and peels bring light flaking. Laser resurfacing means three to five days of redness and peeling.
When will I see a difference?
Neuromodulator takes three to seven days to start working and about two weeks to settle. Filler shows straight away and looks its best once swelling goes down, usually within one to two weeks. Skin treatments build over a series. Results vary from person to person, which is why we check in at two weeks.
Can I come in just to ask questions?
Yes. Consultations are free, take about 30 minutes and do not obligate you to book anything. Plenty of people come twice before they decide.
What if I am not happy with the result?
Tell us. Every injectable client has a free two-week check-in, and small adjustments at that visit are included. If something feels wrong at any point, call us and a nurse practitioner will see you the same day.
Do you treat men?
Yes, and many of our clients are men. Adrian and Natalie see most of them for forehead, jawline and under-eye work that keeps a natural look.
What should I avoid before a treatment?
Before injectables, skip alcohol and anti-inflammatory pain relievers such as ibuprofen for a day, unless a doctor has told you to take them, because they can increase bruising. Before laser, stay out of the sun and avoid self-tanning products for two weeks. We send a short checklist when you book.
Do you take insurance, and can I pay over time?
Cosmetic treatments are not covered by insurance. We take all major cards and HSA and FSA cards for eligible skin treatments, and we offer monthly payment plans through a third-party lender for larger treatment plans.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give us 24 hours’ notice. A late cancellation or a missed visit is $50, and we apply it to your next treatment.
