Started in a Melbourne apartment
Vorgestern was founded in 2018 by Nick, who was born in Australia and started out working alone from an apartment in Melbourne. Today it is an independent studio based in Atlanta, Georgia, working with businesses in every state.
The size has changed and the way it works has not. The person who scopes the plan on the first call is the same person who designs the site, writes the words and ships the code. There are no account managers, no middlemen between your brief and the build, and no templates borrowed from somebody else’s client.
Each project starts with what a visitor should do on a page and why they would do it. The build then runs on whatever the brief needs: WordPress, Shopify, React or a fully custom stack. The platform is a means, not a pitch.
